Normal Point Data Replacement Policy

Data replacement where date of data is less than 30 days:

Data can be resupplied by stations within 30 days of the date of the data. Stations must ensure that the release flag in the normal point data is updated if data are resupplied. The ILRS Data Centers will replace these data in their on-line archives.

Data replacement where date of data is greater than 30 days:

Replacement of data older than 30 days in DCs will be made on a case-by-case basis. The station operator must contact the ILRS CB prior to replacing data older than 30 days detailing the reason for replacement. Transmission of these data must be coordinated by the CB to ensure the data are archived in the DCs properly. Following archive, the station operator must issue a notification email detailing the problem and reason for replacment. The station operator must also ensure that the normal point release flag is incremented.
